BENEFITS:

Vitamin C is required by shrimp for proper collagen formation and wound repair. Severe deficiency can result in “Black Death” syndrome, which is characterized by black melanized lesions. Vitamin C is essential in prawn and shrimp for disease resistance, rapid growth, high survival and moulting. Vitamin C increases intestinal absorption of iron from plant-based foods. Vitamin C enhances in immune response. Vitamin C helps synthesize carnitine, adrenaline, epinephrine, the neurotransmitter serotonin, the thyroid hormone thyroxine, bile acids, and steroid hormones. Vitamin C regulates the moult phase and helps in quick formation of exoskeleton in shrimps. DOSAGE: Shrimp/Fish : 3-5 grams/kg of feed usage 2-3 days per week (or) as Advised by Qualified Aquaculture Practitioner.
